Multi-day in-depth study session

During an interactive, multi-day in-depth study session, we thoroughly explore The Hogeweyk® Care Concept and Be Advice Paradigm©. Together, we will lay the foundation for your project with The Hogeweyk® Care Concept’s input, inspiration, knowledge and experience, as well as the latest insights. A multi-day in-depth study session can be held onsite in The Hogeweyk or on location in your organization.

How to envision and design your own transformative project inspired by The Hogeweyk Care Concept and Be Advice Paradigm

A multi-day, in-depth study session is led by experienced advisors. We draw on our years of experience in concept development, implementation, and adaptation of The Hogeweyk Care Concept, as well as in change and operational management—both in The Hogeweyk and while supporting international initiatives applying the social approach in support and care.

During an introductory meeting, we examine your specific request and tailor the program to your needs, taking into account your project’s stage of development—whether it concerns a new initiative, an existing care organisation dedicated to innovate and transform as a whole or a part of it, for example day services. We help you envision and design your project or concept inspired by The Hogeweyk Care Concept and the Be Advice Paradigm©, discussing how it can be applied in your country, culture, organisation and society. These interactive days are ideally suited for you and your dedicated team—the same team that will implement the change or innovation.

"Working with Eloy and Iris during the training sessions was the best thing that could have happened for our teams. Just when we thought we had dementia care figured out, you came along and opened our eyes to the lack of “normalcy” that even “high quality” facilities here in this country continue to lack. We are firmly committed to bringing that normalcy of daily routine to our new dementia focused community center here in South Bend Indiana! This will be a revolutionary model of care…and, truly, care the way it should always be. Thank you so much for your insights and the time spent with REAL services, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services, and Center for Hospice Care. I hope that we are able to get together again in the future! "

Angelica Baginske | Director of Alzheimer's and Dementia Services

"Since 2015, several politicians, managers and employees from the municipality of Kristiansand, Norway, have been visiting The Hogeweyk on various occasions. We became inspired to build new care homes called Strømmehaven, which opened in 2020. Experiencing The Hogeweyk as well as the guidings and workshops by Be, have been a very good contribution to develop both our buildings and our care concept. The consultants at Be are always giving us a warm welcome, manage to give good and detailed explanations about the vision and principles in The Hogeweyk, and dare to ask challenging questions which have been important and helpful for our own process of understanding and decision making. We look forward to our further cooperation!"

Ilse van Lingen | Advisor Plan & Strategy Strømmehaven

"I would like to say how wonderful it was to have Jannette and Eloy with us last week to tell us all about The Hogeweyk Care Concept. Our staff were very impressed and they have taken away many ideas to think about and in particular how they can make small changes to normalise the lives of all our residents and not those just with dementia."

Robyn Simpson | General Manager Operations & Service Development, Doutta Galla Aged Services (Footscray, Australia - 2017)

"The advisors were engaging, enthusiastic, had a willingness to share, thoughtful, informed, open, honest, insightful with regards to the issues our countries share with our populations and politics. Also we felt we had a very real, informed conversation and we left with a feeling that we could rely on you as partners in the new venture for our own partnership."

Rob McCulloch-Graham | Chief Officer Health & Social Care, Scottish Borders Health & Social Care Partnership

"Your workshop was fantastic and will help many groups in Calgary improve their care delivery for people with dementia."
