Carpe Diem Dementia Village

The municipality of Bærum is in the process of building a community for people with dementia. In this village, residents can continue living their lives as they used to. Lifestyle, well-being and everyday life are important. Residents will be able to move freely throughout the village. Carpe Diem opened in the summer of 2020.

How we supported

The municipality of Bærum visited The Hogeweyk® and adopted its vision. Following that visit, Be Advice welcomed the manager, employees and several experts from the municipality. The core values of The Hogeweyk® Care Concept were adapted to Norwegian culture, the specific area of Bærum and its inhabitants.
