Carpe Diem Dementia Village

The municipality of Bærum opened Carpe Diem in the summer of 2020. Carpe Diem is a community for people with dementia. In this village, residents can continue living their lives as they used to. Lifestyle, well-being and everyday life are important. Residents will be able to move freely throughout the village.

How we supported

The municipality of Bærum visited The Hogeweyk® and adopted its vision. Following that visit, Be Advice welcomed the manager, employees and several experts from the municipality. The core values of The Hogeweyk® Care Concept were adapted to Norwegian culture, the specific area of Bærum and its inhabitants.
