Impact through vision

Be Advice is creating impact and a global movement through a radically different perspective on living, care and wellbeing for people living with dementia. We inspire to look differently at people living with dementia.

This different perspective calls for a social approach to care instead of a medical one. We humanize support, care and living for people living with dementia. We advise on and support the creation and implementation of innovative care concepts for elderly people living with (and without) dementia all over the world.

With years of experience as hands-on agents for change and advisors, we challenge others to let go of old ways of thinking. We listen, inspire and challenge; we support innovation, vision and concept development and we assist with implementation. Above all, we help translate this social and holistic approach to one’s own culture, society, context and environment.

The cases below show organisations that, having been inspired by our concept, have developed their own approach and started a movement to humanize support, care and living for people living with dementia. Each organisation goes through its own process and takes steps toward a more inclusive society, adapted to its country, culture and social context. While these steps may differ in pace and form, each contributes to the growing international movement toward the essential deinstitutionalisation of support and care for people living with dementia.
